What is Neuropathy?

Neuropathy is damage or dysfunction of nerves that typically results in numbness, tingling, muscle weakness and pain in the affected area. It can affect one nerve or numerous nerves. It usually starts on the hands and feet but can travel to other areas of the body.

What causes Neuropathy?

There are many conditions and events that can cause neuropathy. It is not caused by a single disease.  The number one leading disease that causes neuropathy is diabetes. Other leading causes ae but not limited to trauma, certain medications, and abnormal vitamin levels, or inherited disorders.

How we can help?

There are three central types of exercises for people with neuropathy: aerobic, balance, and stretching. We provide manual techniques and modalities to help reduce symptoms.

Our goal is to make sure you feel better. With the help of our trained specialists, we can help with straightening and balance to help reduce weakness, muscle loss, and loss of ankle reflexes.
